Bio

Marcelle Cavazos is a multidisciplinary artist based in Houston, Texas. She holds a Master’s degree from Sam Houston State University with a concentration in Social Practices in Art.

Her work draws inspiration from everyday objects and their historical, cultural, and scriptural symbolism. Through installation, community-based projects, and mixed media, Marcelle explores personal narratives and collective memory to spark dialogue about identity, social awareness, and cultural preservation.

She is currently working as a full-time independent artist, developing new bodies of work and community-centered projects throughout the Houston area.
